Headington Roadwork’s Latest

Sunday, August 29th, 2010

Latest update is that after the bank holiday [precise date and time not given but presumably from Tuesday 31st] the eastbound [towards Aylesbury] bus stop at Headington Shops is to be temporarily moved west a few yards into what is currently the car parking lay-bay before the bus stop to allow work to commence on the bus stop lay-by.

On 1st and 2nd September there will be stop and go boards in use as work needs to be done on the road surface to cut in traffic light detectors.

Then from 6th September onwards there will be single line working controlled by temporary traffic lights so expect delays. It doesn’t say how long these lights will be used for.
