  2. Ray Matthews Says:

Can highly recommend these fresh eggs from Ansells chicks, very nice to dip your toasted bread soldiers in!!

They are delivered to my front door just 24 hours after ordering them!!

You cannot get better service than that, even better than Tesco”s!!

    Keep those chicks laying, Les.

  3. Andrew Says:

Please look at your posting re the Buckingham Charter Fair.
Dated 2009 but headings says 2007.
2007 would bew a bit late now eh?

Come on you can do better than that.

  4. lee humphreys Says:

well thank you very much kind sir

  5. Malcolm Says:

i fully agree. It is very poorly located and encourages pedestrians to cut corners and appear under your nose without warning.

Another fine example of planning in Oxford.

  6. Bernie Says:

Why didntthey sight the crossing further down toward the castle.Pedestrians cross from all directions.Blind spots are plenty.Well done Oxford Council.

  7. will smith Says:

if you notice there is always a traffic warden at the crossing i wonder whos side he will be on when it goes tits up. will it be the bus driver i think not its a classic ox cc good lads

  8. Tony Whillock Says:

Why was the crossing moved from it’s former position outside the council offices and why have the traffic lights been removed. It didn’t need moving.
There have been several occasions where I’ve started to go over the crossing only for a brain dead pedestrian to appear from behind the pillar on the bus.

  9. Philip Says:

Early 1970’s at a guess as a very young conductor/driver then can just about remember it now. Buses to Bedford went from outside booking office. Is the single decker possibly 315 or 321?

  10. will smith Says:

how dummpy and wiggy and martin kept tabbs on it all was spot on fair play

  11. george Baker Says:

    Where Mrs Matthews!!
Anyway hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Where was Wato?? The man in black.

  14. Dave Ellis Says:

Tell the council i will drive the b#####y gritting trucks if no one else can be found. Still today Sunday many bus routes still not gritted. WHY??????

  15. Dave Ellis Says:

Does 1 adult and 4 kids not qualify?

  16. Les Says:

Valid for up to 2 adults travelling with up to 3 children

Seems to be the limited if your read the poster..But does it really make any difference as long as it adds up to five … I think not !!!!

  17. Ray Says:

Can the union not organise a collection for their loyal mate Wato for his forthcoming trip to Birmingham, one-way of course.
One needs a little help since the cost of the repair to the sports car through his inconsiderate driving of said vehicle and pothole collisions is paramount to him being able to continue his work with you.
A starting subscription of 2p per person would be a start.

  18. George Baker Says:

It was there in the past, flag must be replaced for new driver’s, contact Mr Nick Nocks,
    George Baker

  19. Bernie Says:

Wato good idea .I would offer 3P would that be any help.Would anybody volunteer to go with him, just in case he he gets lost.

  20. Tony Whillock Says:

The buses are fitted with automatic gear boxes so if a gear box will not change up a gear until the bus is going at 50mph then there is nothing the driver can do about it also most of the buses are so slow at pulling away that unless the accelerator is pushed to the floor the bus will not move (Tridents,3890.)
I take it that ALL the routes are going to be re-timed to allow for the slowness that we will have to travel at or we will all be subject to disciplinary action because the bus is knackered ?

  21. Roughton Says:

What a shame about Tony Nappin – one of the more interesting of Red Rover drivers and a nice man!

Sorry to hear this, I remember the Napster from my first days at Red Rover, right through to my last days with “The Shires”. To me, he was one of the fixtures and fittngs. A fella with a uniquely dry (but oh so hysterically funny) sense of humour, and a great guy to work with.
