SAPPHIRE 280: DIVERSION AROUND THE BUILDING SITE IN OXFORD

From Monday 3rd October until Monday 24th October [estimated], there will be a diversion to the current route the 280 follows between Speedwell Street and Castle Street in both directions.

The section of road through the building site will be closed, as will Old Greyfriars Street and the short section of Speedwell Street between the building site and the short road off to the Thames Street junction.

Buses will divert from Speedwell Street, left into the small section of road to the traffic lights; right into Thames Street, then right at a new junction into a different part of the building site, then follow this new road [which incidentally will be the road we use once the Westgate Centre is finished] around the building site and it comes out at the junction with Castle Street – where we currently join this road from the building site diversion.

Same route on return from the Rail Station.

No stops are affected.
